Grey Haven House Concerts has hosted several national musicians over the last several years. Now we are starting a new series to showcase local talent. We call it Grey Haven Local.
We will kick-off our new series this Friday, July 17th with bluegrass band Steel N' Thunder!
The Steel N' Thunder trio gives an energetic show of bluegrass favorites along with their own compositions that you are certain to enjoy. We are really excited to have them for our kick-off Grey Haven Local concert!
The show will start at 7:00 with an opening act, Steel N' Thunder plays at 8:00 (or so). There will be snacks, fun, folks, enjoyment, laughter, singing, and wonderful times had be all.
All are invited! Bring your homies and peeps!
We suggest a donation of $5 to Steel N' Thunder for their talent.
Directions to Grey Haven (the Hinckley Cabin):
Grey Haven is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon just 30 minutes from Salt Lake. Drive up the canyon 11 miles, then turn left onto the side access road. (There is a bank of mailboxes on the right. If you reach the Silver Fork Lodge you've gone to far, but only a little.) Follow the access road as it turns sharply right. Go past the three garages on the left. (Mind the "Don't Even THINK About Parking Here" signs--the neighbor really means it.) Grey Haven is the gray A-frame on the left. Parking is limited at the cabin. If needed, you can park on the main canyon road and walk up the access road--it's not too far.
